That idea has been around since like forever.Actually, i remember a post that Belgianrofl made about crafting being embarrassing to be on screen while his girlfriend was around, he'd have to stop crafting so he wouldn't be embarrassed.
But you see, you can control that. If other players are bunny-hopping, (not like its a huge problem for me) you cannot control it, but I put some thought into comparing these two situations and it turns out that, it would seem a little degrading for a Final Fantasy. I'm not sure, but if jumping was implemented in a way to where only you can see your character jump, that would possibly be the best way to implement.
This idea was mentioned in another thread but mostly went ignored.
But people don't like to listen to solutions.

This solution seems to be the most viable though. Even the people that want jump to be implemented seem to have ignored it. There really is no winning is there?
Charlie Sheen hogging all the win. ;-;
I mentioned a jumping toggle like the first day of these forums.
Anti-jumping response: "NO JUMP NUUU DA END OF DA WERLD"
Direct quote

Well then i suppose we can both agree that whoever said that was an idiot, or didn't read or understand your post, or all of the above. :P
