Eh, does a good job of attacking the weaker arguments against jump. Doesn't change the fact that the game can dramatically improve in the eyes of a lot of players(including many who left for other actually important reasons) all without ever implementing jump.
limiting options is never a good thingMore options means more fun means more players. Look @ WoW.... >.> or rift and I didn't like those games all that much.
ff games also had jump. Depending on the game it was a pole/spear move commonly for dragoon. Mostly used for avoiding attacks. And there were a few SE games wiith a form of auto jumping. ff13 was not the only ff game with auto jump.
Jumping= Everyone jumping nonstop like there friggen Mario= Annoying= Headache >.<
can people stop using this argument was another player does is non of your concern. And it is over exaggerated. I played alot of mmo with jumping in it, And i barely see bunny hoppers, And I did infact hang around towns in Wow. I saw a grand totle of 20 bunny hoppers in WoW. in a year. And this was 1 bunny hopper very few mnths and not even every day.
One of the reasons why I quit WoW was because of the Bunny hoppers in WoW. Just sayin'can people stop using this argument was another player does is non of your concern. And it is over exaggerated. That's about the only annoying thing I don't like about jumping, it's bunny hoppers. (Perfect World International have jumps, and in fact, double jump, let alone flying and swimming, but there are mobs and battles that are involved in the water and in the sky, so It make things interesting) My only issue with jumping is the fact that the game don't /need/ it to be successful, and the SE devs shouldn't be focusing on it until other issues are solved.can people stop using this argument was another player does is non of your concern. To me, jumping is more of a luxury feature than a necessity.
I saw this get abused a lot in Perfect World International (especially flying). One method to combat that, is that mobs would immediately start to regenerate its HP once you actually do abuse jumping and flying and avoid getting hit.limiting options is never a good thingMore options means more fun means more players. Also, for PVP, there are area where jumping and flying were disabled for that sake.

omg people walking nonstop instead of running = annoying=headache we need to remove that along with these leve quest which =annoying=headache along with all these people that dont want change which = annoying=headache.
Why do people list platformers? Are MMORPGs platformers now? No wonder they're being developed for people with short attention spans now.

I'm more concerned with people wanting SE to focus on jumping than other issue that they should be worrying about first.
