I'm saying that jumping is not needed in FFXIV as it stands, regardless of anyone's personal opinion. Not really "agreeing" with anyone. I'm purely stating what should be obvious.

Lol this is too rediculous, jumping is not a fr@#king issue, let the devs work on the something that matters for a while. btw there's nothing nextgen about jumping, even if you know nothing about video games the op layed out a brief history. clearly 1982 is not nextgen.

Seriously i'm annoyed by jump spammers too but, either way gameplay would not be effected in the slightest. gameplay improves with actual content and goals not ui or controls.
