Devs. Please consider adding free jumping (even allow people to spam if they like), BUT give us the option to turn character models OFF similar to Dream of Mirror Online.
At the very least allow players on blacklist to not appear (or the option for it in the interface).
Again, doesn't matter. It's not a good argument. Make a list of actual reasons as to why it'd be detrimental to the game other than the fact that some people make a habit of pressing the space bar too often. People also make it a habit to use weeaboo egg faced emotes and tilde after every god damn sentence. It's not meant to annoy anyone either, but guess what? It's pretty obnoxious.
I rather have 20 bunny hoppers in the town than 20 crafters around me
crafters annoying me more because they annoy in both eyesight and sound from hammering over and over and we don't have option to disable it except client hacking which against the ToS
Am I the only one who read this post as satire?
Yeah, need to take the subject lightly to get any amusement out of this thread. The whole topic makes no difference at all to anything and there's a whole lot of over-reacting going on. Everywhere people are saything that having/not having jumping is gamebreaking, but really:
1. People won't quit with the sole reason being that jumping is added
2. People won't quit with the sole reason being that jumping is not added
Either way, whatever happens, people will get over their gripes, adapt to the playing style and continue on their merry way. Jumping is NOT a gamebreaking feature. It's all just a matter of preference.
I'd prefer not to have jumping, but if it was implemented I'd use it if/when I gain benefit from it. However, at the moment, it'd be about as useful a battle-spork for all the culinarians (and no, that's not a call for the addition of battle-sporks).

Nobody realized the poster was being sarcastic? You all seem to think he's against jumping but he's just making fun of the arguments people against it are giving us as to why we should have it.
Or maybe it's just me... either way. SE wake up and make sure Jumping is added once you get a minute to work on it.
If the level design starts requiring jumping in a serious way, I may very well be out. It's not the style of gameplay I expect from a Final Fantasy title. That is not illogical, immoral or ignorant. I just do not enjoy attempting jumping puzzles over and over until I finally get through. If I do not enjoy, I should not play.Quitting a game because of jump is illogical , immoral, and plain ignorant. Neptune there was many battles in WoW and other games where jump was utilized effectively and without hassle. It adds options and some flair to the game whether you dislike it or not, you are stating opinion and I am stating facts. In my honest opinion if you quit a game because you see someone jumping or bunny hopping, the game is way better off without you playing and giving any criticism at all and your opinion should be void.
If jump is available, but not heavily required, then it doesn't impact me.
