No, but I've heard plenty of people complain when they find out they can't jump in a game. FFXIV became a laughing stock of the gaming community, and the lack of jump was in the list of 'cons' in bad reviews that did indeed state the lack of ability to jump was a turnoff.
Here is one example of many:

This is a very interesting video clip. Makes me glad Tanaka's gone. No, but I've heard plenty of people complain when they find out they can't jump in a game. I set it to start right where MikeB asks Tanaka about jumping (8-1/2 minutes in). It's actually a much longer clip. I recommend watching it in its entirety if you haven't before. It shows you some things that can really make or break an MMO.
And, yes, I agree. Tanaka made some bad decisions and just wasn't good with the public. It was time for him to go.

Me my brother and his gf didn't join this game because you can jump, we joined it because it had an interesting design. Btw, jumping in that game serves very little purpose, yet it's a fun as hell game.
Go figure the fun comes from everything but jumping, eh?
just go back to FFXI, sitting on a rocking chair forever
you people are not fit in this new generation, jumping might hurt your waist and hip
That's very smart though. Tell people go back to SE's other successful MMO so that XIV can fade into nothing since it will show them they should focus on XI instead of XIV![]()
