I find that it is harder to make normal quality items than high quality ones....
As I've posted above, not only is it so easy to HQ 2 star crafts from NQ materials. I can macro to do it :0.
Easy as 1,2,3 I am so skilled~~~
This needs some serious work. Not only is this effecting Crafters, its effecting Gatherers. At the moment there is hardly any difference at all for a super geared Gatherer to sell a NQ material to a HQ material.

Macros should just be removed all together, this also includes DoW and DoM classes because yes macros take no skill and you learn nothing. But again in terms of crafting if you spend all that gil to materia out a crafting set you should be able to HQ with ease along with the time also spent to get the other crafters to 50 to cross class. For the DoL sure no difference in materials, in my opinion makes no big deal then right, everything is on the same playing field so it actually works out not having to spend all that gil on materia so it has a trade off of being cheaper, but then again I usually gather my own mats so never really looked at that.

Well its actually my self made macro - so I learnt a lot
But for those who copy and use it, I agree they learn nothing except how to profit.


I remember the days of old where HQ was hard and EVERYONE COMPLAINED THAT IT IS TOO RANDOM AND THAT THEY WANTED SE TO MAKE IT MORE SKILL BASED!!
Well I guess that now that it is skill based AND PERFECT, people will complain that it is too skill based and not random enough, that is so like the FFXIV community, yep I am in the right forums!

Ummm but the whole point of the original post is to say that its not skill based. It is not fine, SE needs to make balance between skill based and randomness, a middle ground.
