Gryphonskin Materia Question

Hi, eventually I'm hoping to buy/get crafted two Gryphonskin pieces (chest and pants) for my Monk when I have a few gils to spare as I have heard that assuming you use the correct materia and HQ it's slightly better than DL and also DL is frikkin ugly :P

My question is what would be the best materia to have attached to the two pieces assuming the rest of my gear is DL?

Crit Rate T4 on the Body and Accuracy T4 on the Legs is what I always see in the first 2 guaranteed slots (and what I did myself - you will likely want some more Accuracy if you do Coil).

For the forbidden melded slots I see a variety of stuff, people usually try to cap Crit/Acc (the body accepts Crit T4x3 and the legs accept Acc T4 x3) and then work in some Determination for the damage boost.

What I did was just spiritbond a bunch of iLvl 55 Gear (HQ bonds faster) and sell anything that I got that wasn't the Tier 4's I wanted. Usually I could buy at least 1 each SB run unless I got really unlucky, but of course this depends on your server prices.

I wouldn't dare try to do forbidden melds with T4 though, that's a lot of money down the drain that could be going toward company housing lol
