I think we may be able to get more attention if approach it from a general standpoint.


We all know at this point, our class is determined by the weapon we wield.
Let's take the time to let the devs know what weapons we want to see in game.

They can throw job names out later to coincide with such weapons. As job names at this point really don't matter.

Weapons Id like to see.

1. Katana (Dual Wielding)
2. Great Katana
3. Great Sword
4. Whip (possibly dual wielding like that short scene in the movie underworld)
5. 1 H Axes (possibly dual wield or axe/shield combo)
5. Scythe
6. Club
7. 1 H Guns (Dual Wielding)
8. 2 H Guns
9. Crossbows
10. Shirukens



With that said and the knowledge that they are planning on introducing a materia crafting system which seems to be for some sort of enhancements. I think it would be neat if say they incorporate visual graphics onto enhancements.

For example elemental enhancements.
IE. You have a Goblin Longsword that has been imbued with a fire enhancement.

Perhaps the sword now has a feint red glow to it when passive, and when actively attacking the glow becomes even brighter or something like that. We are only limited by our/ and the developers creativity with what could be done in this regards.
