Mor Dhona No longer Fate Hangout?

Mor Dhona used to be the place to level from 40 to 45 through fates. Today i went in and nobody was calling for fate groups, everyone just shouts for endgame darklight content. I also noticed all fates were lv 46+. That and NOBODY WAS RUNNING THEM. What happened?

Everyone went to Northern Thanalan.

I did some FATEs there for a few levels while queuing for some of the low to mid-40 dungeons, but around 43 or so I just sucked it up and did FATE groups at Cerulean Processing Plant.

Mor Dhona is way too spread out for effective FATEing, so people went to compact Northern Thanalan.

I disagree, due to the level difference at level 40 which reduces your xp gain to the Thanalan fates plus the speed they are cleared and the wait time involved it is far more efficient to go from 40 - 45 in Mor Dhona still. Even if you are in a group, your level still does not guarantee a Gold and you run the risk of Silvers which only further slows you down.

The only bonus to Thanalan is every now and then Gomeria and DD fates, the rest are crap in terms of efficiency until after 45.

You didn't mention what time of day this was: Peak or off-peak? And server population, Gilgamesh is one of the more populated ones, right?

Off-peak time or low server population could be contributing factors. For the rest of it, see what other posters said.

Last time I was in Mor Dhona for FATEs (and it was some weeks back), people were doing them - but not as high a pace as Costa del Sol or North Thanalan.
