Oh well, if that's true, then awesome. It's an old interview and I don't know if it's still on track, but one can hope.

Well, considering that a lot of Legacy members ( including myself but not currently using atm) have most to all battle/magic to 50. I think it's safe to say he is still going to do it.
Mid Novemeber, if there is class(es)/Job(s) coming in 2.1, it will most likely be said during the live letter (unless it's one of there Ninja content they don't want to be said XD).
1-50 should stay roughly the same, but levels 51+ should steepen the leveling curve personally.

I think this hits the nail on the head. It probably won't be as dramatic as FFXI (where the exp requirement per level something like tripled at 51) but I suspect it will start ramping up quite a bit faster, especially with a smaller number of levels added at once (5-10). I'd thoroughly expect 51-60 to take several times as long as 1-50 does.
Not as long as FFXI (mainly because mobs took longer to kill and the EXP was quite a ways for what you got), but if mobs generally take the same amount of time to kill, then the EXP in FFXI terms should stay roughly the same ( FFXIV lvl 50= 560k?) probably jump to 800k and then go up in 50-100k increments per level?I think this hits the nail on the head.
