Want help fxing my mini map

For some reason when I was trying to download the new patch for ffxiv it gave me an error, so I looked on google to fix it and I did. But, now when I go to open my mini map in the game it does not show the area or point of interests it just show the map without anything. Is there a way to fix that?

I changed the game to run as admin and changed the compatibility to run windows xp

Did you try to revert them back? Or it will crash also after being patched?

yes I have changed back everything back and nothing.... And I am using Windows 7

Maybe a driver issue or some program rendering something? Like teamspeak overlay for example.

So should uninstall and than reinstall the game?

So the map that you open and not the mini map displayed in the circle? Zoom in. I know lots of people who thought their map was bugged and they had just zoomed the map out so points of interest no longer show up.

You could try reinstalling your video driver first or changing version. If it still doesn't work you can try reinstalling the game. Or as suggested try playing with camera/map zoom levels and see if you get any change.
