I recently started using the Legacy movement settings in the character configuration and i really enjoy these settings as they help me avoid Red AOE attacks and i feel i can freely move around the battle field much easier while keeping my camera on whatever i want to focus on. However there is two problems i have when using this setting that im sure others have experienced. The first problem is when your camera view is obstructed by walls or when fighting in close quarters, your camera will zoom in to give you a better view of the fight but however it will STAY zoomed when you move your camera out from the walls or if you simply move your camera directly overhead it stays zoomed, you have to manually zoom all the way out again everytime and it's really a pain.(Not sure if a bug or not) This problem is most apparent when tanking a monster with your back against a wall yet when you do the same thing on "Standard" settings your camera will fully zoom out to where it was before
The second problem with using this Legacy setting may only be for PS3 or controller users but when using Standard you can strafe while always facing your target, once you switch to Legacy if your playing melee and moving left and right infront of a monster you literally will never auto attack it unless you are directly facing it which is impossible unless you stop moving and stand still (This is a major DPS loss for melee classes and might cause you to lose enmity on tanks aswell!!). The way i think you could fix this issue is by allowing the "Automatically face target when using action." feature in your character config (Target tab) to face your target when using any skill even when it's on cooldown. As of right now you will only face your target AFTER the skill has been used and if you move again after you need to manually face your target or wait 2.5 seconds on your global cooldown to trigger the skill to face your target for you. Now i know there is macro's like /facetarget that you can use however when playing fast paced classes like the monk i dont have much time to move+press /facetarget macro+use skill+reposition for next combo+/facetarget macro etc, you lose so much DPS by not chaining auto attacks. I literally have every attack skill i use Macro'd with /Facetarget and it helps dramatically for this problem which could simply be fixed by making your character face your target when pressing any skill while having the "Automatically face target when using action." feature enabled even when that skill is on cooldown. With that change you can rapidly press your next combo skill your waiting on while moving around the target and until the skill is ready you will be facing your target squeezing in them auto attacks!
