    Main story dungeons- solo modes

    Greetings. In different MMORPG main story dungeons have, with party mode, solo mode to complete dungeon and go forth to next story quest. So, two dungeons modes- party and solo for completing main story quests. Has SE any plans to make such mode in FF 14 for story dungeons from @Sastasha@ till @Proetorium@? Thank you

    Probably not because this is a MMORPG. If you want to play a solo Final Fantasy game there are a lot of great ones to choose from!

    I would actually like an option to go through a dungeon solo as a challenge. Maybe something you could so weekly. All the NPCs credit you with surviving them on your own as if the other players weren't there anyway.

    I doubt it's going to happen, but would love to see it. Perhaps you get an allowance every week to challenge a few dungeons in solo hard mode without a level cap.

    Nope. All it does is promoting people to overgear the contents then run solo dungeon for the same rewards as finding people to play with. This ends up killing the community.

    Usually solo mode is reserved for when you can play the dungeon through because you outgear and outlevel it. Not that the content is reduced so you can do solo play 1-50

    So you want them to spend time trying balance every single dungeon over again just because some people want to be anti social? Sounds like a great idea, why work on new things when they could work on the old and bleed even more because that minority just has to be able to solo dungeons meant for a group.

    don't even have to balance it that much, sync it based on the level of the dungeon (for instance, satasha would sync from 25, any duneons over cutters cry wouldn't sync.) and buff all of the enemies up to the original sync level of the dungeon.

    As I know there are many different teams in SE working on different parts of the content of this game. Why not to make one more team for designing solo modes?

    Because this is a MMORPG? Meaning play ff 1-13 nix 11 they have nothing but solo dung. its this amazing concept called an RPG revolutionary this day in age I know. If you want solo modes play a solo game, one of the Key problems with 11 is it has become, if i can't solo this it's not worth it game. Hince they are trying to remove/prevent the negative attitude. Solo dung. would require a lot of work, their is no way a lvl 31 whm could take out a lvl 28 dung. even with sleep a blm cant handle 4 mobs at once. The fact that you think it would be simple shows your lack of knowledge on level design, game design, and coding. The dung. would have to be completely reworked so mobs don't link or new groupings of mobs created based off the job you enter the dung. as. which would be a waste of time/money esp. considering they are behind still. While sitting in 50min ques to move forward with the story sucks but ff11 made you wait whole weeks to progress in the story, i'm fine with a hour.
