Registration Question

A friend of mine quit awhile ago. My wife now wants to play, instead of purchasing the game my buddy gave me his game. He cancelled his FFXIV service and his SE account. Is there a way to use his registration code or a way to purchase just a code?? Doesn't make sense to buy another game when I have two copies, just need the code. Please help me out.

I think the game's code is tied to the account. You could try using your friend's code on your wife's SE account, but I would bet that it won't work. You could try talking to SE's customer service directly to see if they will enable this for you. I think you'll have to just buy another copy, but at least it's cheaper.

you need to play on there account with there names which is the issue just got buy the game cost about 15$ at gamestop pretty cheap even the CE is 25$ which brings two copy of the game.
