Let's put it this way? Do you REALLY want to join a party that is 0/4 or 1/4? This usually mean they can't even killl the first boss or keep wiping to wall.

Yeah, and you're the only person smart enough to figure this out while no one else can.
These excuses are cute, and ultimately do not even matter, because you only need to run AK about once before you realize 0/3 and 1/3 is probably bad news and 2/3 is likely good news. You're not increasing your chances any because there's literally no way anyone with a clue will turn down a 2/3 AK.
These things really get on my nerves. So if I go out there and I start snatching purses to grandmas is not my fault, right? It was theirs for going alone, obviously. Stop using lame excuses and admit that you're doing something that's morally wrong, for a change, instead of saying that it's someone else's fault. If someone is purposely and repeatedly leaving a queue because they're looking for an almost finished duty, they're doing it wrong. Not Square-Enix (who can fix it, tho, but shouldn't have to), not the other players (who can simply stop using the DF). They.
If you do this you're potentially wasting their time. Assuming that there was two tanks ready to go into that dungeon and, at least, two groups looking for one, when one of those two tanks drops the queue after being accepted into one of the groups, it's making that same group lose their opportunity of getting the other tank that was in the queue too. Really simplifying it there, you know that the numbers would be a lot bigger, and not towards the tank side, so you get the idea.
It's ok if you don't have enough time for doing a full run, but don't be a lazy and selfish jerk and make other people lose the little time that they might have too. Their time is worth the same as yours.
Nobody thinks about the consequences of their actions lol, ok I get it now. Do you fail to realize that tanks would completely abuse this function and forming new groups would take even longer?
After reading over this thread I can only come to one conclusion...
The tanks doing this are more willing to take a 15 minute debuff than clear a fresh dungeon. When the entire dungeon itself only takes about 20 minutes... they are more than likely TERRIBLE tanks, and you shouldn't worry about losing them.
Glad I never have to worry about grouping with you for anything XD

While I'm sure that's appreciated, I can assure you there are more people abusing it than those that are innocent. In the long run, they will be thanking you even if it means the innocent are caught in the crossfire from time to time. It's no different than a fighting game penalizing a player for disconnecting during a match.Greetings,
The development team is aware of the fact that there are some players who will constantly withdraw when you are being matched with players via the Duty Finder. They plan on implementing countermeasures for this to decrease the frequency in which this happens; however, they will not be able to address this right away as there are other wrapped up with other high priority tasks. On another note regarding this, we do not plan on giving penalties to these players who withdraw when you are getting ready to commence due to the fact that there is a possibility that players who do not have malicious intent could be penalized.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Sure, some people may actually have connectivity issues and disconnect on accident, but ya know what? More people are going to be plugpulling. If it was up to me, I'd do the same thing some of these fighting games do and change their names to red if they kept doing this so when they joined static groups or even randoms in DF, others would know to stay away from him. If that person clears X number of legitimate runs, he can get the original color back for his name.
Lineage 2 had a really great karma system like this. If you were a "bad" person who ran around PKing innocent people (people who didnt fight back) your name would turn red, and the more you continued this behavior the darker red your name got. Eventually you couldn't enter cities without guards murdering you on sight. On the other side, if you were a helpful player, people could +1 you, and the more of these you got, the brighter blue your name got. Everyone else's name is normally white. If it was up to me, I'd do the same thing some of these fighting games do and change their names to red if they kept doing this so when they joined static groups or even randoms in DF, others would know to stay away from him. Haha. Sounds like Wizardry Online with the criminal system. If you ran around killing whites, you'd have red eyes and people would immediately know you were bad. It was really difficult to go through towns though because the guards would kill you on sight and send you to jail.Lineage 2 had a really great karma system like this. Not peoples fault no counter measure for this has been implemented yet, and some people want to be able to be given the option to quit the dungeon without penalty, to not get stuck with people they dont like. Also most groups in 'in progress' had better geared players as opposed to fresh. And last i think a only join in progress option should be there for people who dont want fresh dungeons.
So deal with it.
So wait. People are seriously justifying only joining runs that are almost done? Seriously? And then people complain about elitists and what not.....
Yes, I have in progress runs tagged. Do I do it to increase the chances of a queue? Yes. Do I do so I can join groups that are almost done? No. If I see a WP run on 0/3 or 1/3 I don't go "pffft, not almost done enough for me", I simply join them. Almost all the time their healer either quit right away because they didn't like the gear (yet the run still goes smooth enough lol) or they DCed somewhere.
People using this system to get into runs where a tank/healer DCed/had to leave just before the final boss are just being jerks. Nothing more, nothing less and they really shouldn't be trying to justify their behaviour. If you really don't have the time to complete a full run, gtfo mmos. If you only want to do the last boss and get full rewards, once more gtfo mmos. They're clearly not meant for you.
