In my rotation your only going to add the scathe into the rotation when you accidentally have a F3 proc still when you cast your B3. If you do your procs correctly you won't use scathe unless the mob is almost dead - then you omit T2 and use Scathe twice...or you need to move.

Opening with a blizz3 may not be optimal. Remember your quelling strikes.

AOE - F3-F2- flare- transpose- repeat as soon as you have mana. Your not waiting for full mana. On your opening you can F2 until you have just enough for a flare if you want.

So wanted to confirm something and I will put it on this thread. CoB ACC cap through t1-t5 is 435 right? Based on what I skimmed online it seems the more consisted number and the same goes on this forum. I'm at 438 before food with my current gear.

432-435 is the cap. I say 432 because I rarely miss with 430 in T5, once in a light moon and not every week. If you are wondering why I'm using 430 Acc, it is for testing.

Cool thank you, I did t1 with my 438 gear and no food and had one miss with thunder 3. Then in t2 I went to my second acc gear configuration to push ACC to 455 and 0 misses and we cleared t2 without a wipe. Of course no Allagan Casting loot dropped for me >.>

Are the Crimson pants a better option than myth pants? They have a ton of Determination, while the myth have a ton of spell speed. Trying to give one of our BLM some advice on gear progression.

Main stat (INT) wins out over secondary stats. It's best if you can get a bunch of Allagan, coz you can use it for SMN as well, and spend Myth on other jobs; but if you don't get the drops, you don't get the drops.

Yes, but I'm trying to convince him getting Zenith is a better use of myth tomes. The only piece he needs to upgrade is legs, he's got DL robe & gloves, CT belt and shoes, and Astral accessories. However, he still has AF1 pants, so all of the pieces are a significant upgrade. CT pants are free and I figured the determination boost would be more significant than the crit, especially in light of saving for zenith.

Zenith wins 100%. IF he is able to get the extreme weapon with a different job, it'll be good until he gets Allagan (in my opinion). If this is not the case, Zenith, 100%.

Nah BLM is his main for right now, he's got the accuracy but just needs to upgrade the legs piece and get zenith to start running coil. Thanks for the help JB!
