Is there a reason why set A over set B? Looks like the most logical pick would be set B because you cap Acc and it does more damage overall.

Awesome results. My theorized BiS before Allagan Scepter was actually Set A, since my tests in current gear favor Determination; shame to see that testing has shown more DPS on an AF2 set, but nice to see more Allagan in an ultimate BiS list.

Are you sure the Allagan head's accuracy and Determination aren't worth more than AF2 head's CHR and SS? I feel like you could use better DPS food if you meet the accuracy stat cap. If the math is sound though, I guess it's time to pick up the AF2 head.

If the final results are correct, two reasons:

1. You won't want AF2 chest in your final BiS list, and thus you'll have wasted mythology tomes when you get there (luck and situation dependent).
2. Allagan coat's looks over AF2 armor are worth the .1% loss in DPS and slight accuracy loss (YMMV).

@rwarr - There are very minute differences between the two set (check out the updated gear page). Sleigh is pretty much spot on as well.

@Sleigh - There is no food better than HQ Deviled Eggs at the moment (+24 Crit) even if you've already capped your ACC. As for Head piece, AF2 is worth +6.6 INT while Allagan is worth only +3 INT (Assuming you've already capped your ACC with or without food), theoretically speaking.

One little addition would complete the gear page, VIT comparison between the 3 sets ^^. Looking at the 3 sets stats, they look to be almost equal with SET B having a very small edge over them. I guess it is worth the sacrifice so we don't look like clowns.

eh you guys need on every drop? We just do normal loot system, you get a drop, u pass on the next one for the other mage ^^.
