    Anyone got a Link to what they consider BiS for a SS build with the I130 token weapon please?

    Just had a good week for coil drops and want to sort my set (Gloves, Belt and Pants this week! woot!).

    Finally can use my i130 parts without having 550+ accu lol.

    I agree about the nervous part.It might be elitism but I don't trust the persons I'm tethered to so I make numerous micro-adjustments to compensate for their errors. Also, my DPS falls incredibly during the Add Phase. I can't launch my full assault on the Cube because I'll continue to thieve it. It's quite annoying lol. Watching videos, I see other tanks being able to hold it convincingly against their BLMs so I have to wonder what My tanks did wrong.

    EDIT: How much DPS does Selene add to a fight? I just noticed my SCH isn't using Selene lol. Would 515 T10 be increased? I do get 2 BV Foe's (each Add phase) without having to LB.

    I think if you put Selene on Sick it is around a 20-25 DPS increase over a 10 minute fight. Might be wrong, but I think Selene is better than foes

    Any Black Mages here who are i120+ (pref i125+) who can gather some high magnitude Fire IIIs and Flares for me in their spare time? I'd like some which are fully buffed with Raging Strikes and some without any buffs either. If you're willing to assist me in your free time, you can inbox me all data either on Reddit or Youtube via a pastebin link (literally just copy paste everything from ACT). Also, make sure to include all relevant stats used when gathering those logs.

    Anyone know the actual dps difference between using x-pot and using mega-ether to add an extra hard-cast flare, on a single target?

    I don't think a mega-ether is worth if the flare is only gonna hit 1 target. Even Two seems kinda pointless... I do use a mega-ether after the second dive bomb when I have four to five targets over an x-potion.

    I've always felt with 2 targets it's a dps gain over x-pot, but may be wrong, but yeah probably not worth for 1 target, would be interesting to see some maths on x-pot's value in terms of damage gained.

    Nice vid, jelly that your static kills it before the 2nd dodge phase! We've not managed that yet and it kills my dps xD We also get 4 Bennu, but that last phase for us seems to drag on forever ^^

    Regarding stats, since I changed to a more SPD focused build.... it's hard to go crit again xD Feels like casting in slow motion!

    I'd be interested too since I'm ignorant with mathematics. For the single target argument, I just use it for another flare rotation through the next swiftcast:

    F3 > F1(5) > Swiftcast+Flare > Ether > B3.

    Not sure if it is potent but it does give me a greater reason to use my Convert Cooldown swiftcasts. Speaking of Convert Cooldown Swiftcasts, would Fireweaving with a Swiftcast be the best option if movement isn't an issue in the fight?

    I mean like this:
    Fire 3 > Fire 1 > Fire 1 (Firestarter procs) > Fire 1 > Use Firestarter > Swiftcast during the short GCD after the proc > Fire 1 with Swiftcast > Use Firestarter if the Swiftcast Fire1 Proc'd.

    It feels wasted using it on a Thunder 2 or 3 during UI.

    Gear set for this turn Here's the gear I had for this turn. I have the minimum accuracy for T12 and I focus more on crit on this turn because Flare is 20% of my damage. Regardless on the number of bennus you get, I believe that you can't base yourself off Puro's stat weights on this turn simply because AoE is a different rotation and spell speed is kinda useless for AoE. Correct me if I'm wrong x.x I never do better damage when I go full spell speed on T12.

    I follow this philosophy for T12 too, even with 3 Bennu myself, as well as T10, there are at least 6 or so Flares on 2 targets. T11 and T13, spell speed, mainly because T13 Flares are just padding, everything's on a timer, gotta gear for Bahamut damage rather than parse inflation ;( Was really useful in i110 though, when we had inferior strategies and gear and my AoE was completely vital.

    As your group's DPS approach i130 it becomes basically natural if everyone's really skilled. The way to speed up that progression is to focus on your healer/tank DPS - have SCH DPS virtually all of P1/P2 and do Blackfires and Bluefires, tank the boss in Sword Oath, skip Revelations so the debuff drops off. Or at worst, maximize WAR Defiance tanking time through usage of Holmgang on debuff Revelations.

    The fight's basically a vortex of being sped up as you speed it up. Get enough DPS to skip Revelation 2, you can do cheaper tank strats. Start doing that, 3 Bennu is really easy and you can then skip the 4th Revelation and never tank swap, and THEN you have Hallowed Ground for final phase and never have to tank swap there either. You'll be clearing really close to after 1st dodge phase before you know it.
