Legacy Chocobo Barding

I suppose I should preface this post by stating I do not feel entitled to having this or that it is somehow deserved. Just that I think it would be nice to have.

At this current time, we have our Legacy Chocobo as a mount and the Companion Chocobo you can summon to fight by your side. If it were at all possible, I'd like there to also be a set of Legacy Barding that makes your Companion chocobo look like your Legacy Chocobo Mount, as I always viewed the two as one and the same.

I would just like to see my Companion Chocbo as my Legacy Chocobo. Nothing fancy, just cosmetics.

Even though from the description it doesn't make sense for it to be a different chocobo, I think the reason they're seperate lies in the legacy chocobo having a different skin (with the black feathers and 6AE tattoo), not just different barding. e.g. like another character with different customization settings, whereas barding is like armor and just goes on top of everything. I certainly would like to have it though (but im not sure if anything can dethrone the behemoth barding in my book )

I certainly did find it odd how the tool tip talks about nothing seperating you from your steed but if that's my original bird, whats the deal with the other one i already own that has the name my bird had originally? is it a clone then?

Actually, the behemoth barding lets the chocobo's wings flap. Only the city-state bardings prevent that.

Agreed on all accounts, though in my mind, the barding would also change the coloring of the feathers and whatnot. Perhaps not the most logical things for a set of barding, but for the purpose it will fill, I'd be willing to further suspend my disbelief. xD

I'm not legacy and I approve! Would be interesting to see what the design would look like. I hope in the future barding becomes more supported in general. As in more seasonal, related to a content patch (like a crystal set for Crystal Tower), and possibly ALL class sets (AF). Maybe even throwbacks to old FF titles like a magitek, primals, barding designed after popular characters, or even my personal favorite....player personalized customization!!
