First thing, this will create a large amount of discord and flaming due to who gets the MVP and who doesn't, that's the LAST THING this game needs right now. Second thing, if the player is actually awarded for beeing MVP he'll just go show is ass off. I play as a healer, and i never except to get this MVP shit. I never let someone die and i never get bad feedback on my work, but that doesn't mean i ever get a good one "thanks" or "good job". I totally find this MVP thing useless and even dangerous for the game, Yoshida should totally abandon that project and let the game be as it is, we don't need anything WoW-like in a cooperative game, every single player in a party has in key-rôle in a dungeon.

I'm not sure if it's your intention but you're coming across as jealous because you don't think you'll get rewards for yourself. Who cares what non combat pretty thing other players have?

I am pretty sure that tanks will normally get it followed by healers anyway.

It should be anonymous, so why would there be a debate in pt? WoW does not have this so not sure what you meant?

Yoshi recognizes 2 problems in DF: 1. Players are jerks 2. Tank shortage ♥

Do you have better suggestions? They're waiting to give us VTK as a last resort.
