What I don't get is how are you going to vote for a MVP when you make a pre-made group and everyone does their jobs.

Oh right, lol. I actually remember reading that now. The level of fail must be so high I passively forgot it. It's very encouraging to know that those of us who make our own parties will be blocked out of getting content in the game only obtainable via MVP. Quality system.

The problem is the rudeness in DF random parties experienced through the matching system and that is what the devs are trying to discourage by motivating good behavior through rewards systems and a number of other party preference settings that they are adding for aiding communication. Also they said previously that they cannot allow self voting in premade parties because...it would allow players to abuse the system and just vote for themselves.

You're not. They specifically said that the option won't be available for premades.

It is shocking to SE how imautre this new English community behaves as well. Old FF11 English community was much nicer. Why are you surprize?

Good tanks probably will get the most votes since they usually explain fights to new players.

Might actually encourage more tanks in duty finder depending how good the rewards are.

Yeah that or the healers that are on the ball with DPS and holys along with the heals. Speeds runs up significantly

I don't know where these e'splainin' tanks are. I generally find it's my job, as the princess humble healer to help out the new players. Still, I agree that the MVP is likely to end up being either the Tank or the Healer most of the time... unless it's 1 point per person, in which case the DPS can vote for each other and at least get one point per run.
