MVP Voting

Furthermore, we will be adopting an MVP voting feature, so you can vote on the player who you feel did the best job in the dungeon and they will receive MVP points. By accumulating these points, you will be able to exchange them for equipment and mounts.

It would help me to know voting was fair by something I can gauge mathematically.

What if there is a visual display of who filled the limit gauge the most to assist in voting? Filling the bar is already based on party contribution, so if nothing memorable happened in the fight, I'd like to cast my vote to the player who contributed the most in that aspect.

What I don't get is how are you going to vote for a MVP when you make a pre-made group and everyone does their jobs.

Good tanks probably will get the most votes since they usually explain fights to new players.

Might actually encourage more tanks in duty finder depending how good the rewards are.

Yeah that or the healers that are on the ball with DPS and holys along with the heals. Speeds runs up significantly

You're not. They specifically said that the option won't be available for premades.

As long as the equipment is purely for vanity's sake, it doesn't sound too bad. Though in all honesty, just the fact that Squeenix thinks you need more than the good feeling of being nominated MVP makes me wonder what they think of us as players.

Hopefully getting mvp points is as glorified as getting xp points.
