True it use to be all the citys being the problem but if you notice on the lodestone page for the recoverys from the crashes now it is always reason: "uldah market wards" no longer "market wards"

also true but what I was pointing out is it is 2 retainer's per Player character so in the market wards alone the server "population" is doubled on the market ward server

To complete your existence in inquiring about ours :P
The market wards will become much like an AH in due time, just with many retainers, not one counter. Lets try something different shall we?

tbh trying to be different is wat pretty much put the game in its current state, fact is ah's are easyier to use overrall

True, but this game came out at least a full year too soon. You can be different and it be cool, but being different for the sake of difference is just dumb. So fix the retainer/market ward system. Implement a limited AH, and let the players decide.
Guys please stay on topic. We don't need another thread about the shortcomings of certain design concepts. This isn't what I intended lol, although I should have seen this happening.
This is strictly about the instability of the market wards. If it's a problem with such a low population now, what's going to happen at ps3 release? Barely anything has been done to fix it so far and yet we've been hearing about how it's been planned for a while now.
The devs are extremely busy with fixing this game, I know that. I also know that we're still essentially BETA testing, free of charge. But an unstable market system is a huge problem and I would like to know what is being planned to fix this and in what sort of time frame.
The problem is unfixable. However you look at it, a sea of 100s of retainers in one place is never going to be a viable system.
People in favor of wards probably would like the game to asks us every time we use an ability: Are you sure you want to use it? yes no. After all 1 more step to do something isn't a big deal, right?
