Suggestion on communication

spectacular game, id go on but there appears to be a character count limit???

Complaint: I tried to log on and got the "cant load na list" error. Nothing on client, 3 different server status sites all green. Eventually reddit told me i wasnt the only one.

Gamers have been playing server based games for about a billion years now. We know they dont always work. We will scream, whine, demand $ back, threaten violent retribution, exclaim how our lives were ruined... Gamers like hyperbole. Just tell us SOMETHING. Preferably on the client. Let us know its not our stuff thats broke. Tell us immediately.

This is what games do now. Dont make us wonder and spend a bunch of time searching the internet. all it does is drop a heavy load on your forums. One little light on the client. "green" everything is groovy. "yellow" things are iffy, if you cant get in try again in a minute. "red" busted to hell, dont bother.

Even better would be a link on the client to an official post about the issue. Even betterer, the post wouldnt sound like it was written by 5 corporate Japanese execs. "holy hell our stuff is all messed up on this end, not sure why but we are workin on it, we think Sam spilled his coffee on something important. we will get back to you with an ETA for a fix when we arent busy working our asses off" That would make us so super happy.
