    I noticed on the quartermaster there are 3 extra tabs, what are on them?

    At the moment, nothing. Those are tabs for ranks that haven't been introduced into the game yet (in fact, if you look at the third tab, you'll see that in addition to the 2nd Lt. symbol, there are rank tabs for two ranks that don't exist yet). When those ranks are introduced into the game, there will, presumably, be gear you can buy if you're that rank. But it's not here yet.
