It's obvious, both Eva and Vesp, that the OP is probably aware they don't have time right now. We're all aware the game works without a circus, most things do. However, that doesn't mean we can't hope that eventually they will add to the life of the cities. That's something that is sorely missing in the game right now. Plus, with the whole "world ending" thing upon us, it would give a good reason to backup some lore behind it, to "Spread Happiness in the Midst of Chaos". It could work. They don't even need to just do it in Ul'Dah. Could be in all three city states for an event or something. But if this game needs anything for it's city states right now, it's life.

When I was reading the entires on the lodestone, about the festivals regarding the archons and everything... I was kinda hoping these festivals would be shown in game! Not just 2 random dudes screaming nonsense and buffing you at random...

It would be nice to have a competition sort of thing like they had in FFXI, where the "troupe" comes to the top nation of that week with special goodies for those in that city.
