Empty Promises and what needs to be changed in FFXIV

It exists, but the person/people who put it together came off really whiny and demanding -- If someone is going to put together any kind of end-all list of suggested improvements, it needs to not read like a whiny forum post from a teenager.

They don't listen? they are fixing the game as we speak, if you didn't know you, these fixes don't happen instantly.

Zone Size and Copy/Paste - This is probably one of my biggest issues with the game. I'll start by saying that it is absolutely un-acceptable and it makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

Is it that serious?
The new zones get released in time... thats the way an MMO generally works... If every zone was released at launch, then 2 years from now people would be sick of the entire game... Instead you get to really enjoy updates and feel a sense of accomplishment to explore new zones and see new sights down the line... This line of thinking keeps us engaged for years to come

Completely serious. The zones are an eye sore. They are wayyyy to large. There could have been a variety of places in between cities but they are just enormous copy pasted zones. They are boring to look at.

So far I see nothing empty even from Tanaka. they have given us everything they said so far... some of it might of not been up to expectations but they given it to us.

There are 3 Major issues with the community that I don't think will ever leave and it is sorta a cultural thing. They all stem from Americans in Genral being horribly inpatient as a society. That are causing the rage at every single patch...

1) The "I want it now", you are not going to get it from SE you will be lucky to get it in 4 months... reason development of good content takes time. If this is game breaking you should probably take a break, complaining is unlikely to fix this.

2) The patches are fail... Yoshi made the patches 2 a month but smaller to get content out more gradually then in a big chunk... so if you expect a miracle patch you will be horribly disappointed every single time. We asked for more frequent updates we got it, so we have no right to complain.

3) Overhype... Example man the side quest are going to be awesome they will have CS's and a fantastic story line, or awesome I am finally going to be able to level up like a normal mmo. Boy how it pissed ppl off both sides when they where the same as ffxi's side quest.

This game will not be fixed for months, if it is fixed before the end of September I would be extremely surprised. Every update will seem insignificant since they are every 2-3 weeks nows, you need to look back over the period of 1-2 months to see the impact. Compair the game now to release, if you cannot see drastic improvement in almost everything you have not looked hard enough.

I do not see the point in complaining about what the devs say they are fixing already. If anything give them suggestions about it and possible ways to fix it.
