To answer you question shortly: No.

The reason behind it is because 90% of the time you can play normally. Unlike certain MMOs that do a weekly mait where it's down for a whole day, SE likes to do mini-mait whenever possible. I don't agree with the timing because 11-2am PST is my prime play time as well, but it's not something you'll get compensation for.

At least you can almost plan ahead to some degree. They usually only perform maint during that timeframe, rather than random ass times all throughout the day, like some other less-than-adequate MMO's I've played on.

I am in the same boat...that is my main play time also and it sucks that I always lose days because of this. Instead of two days back to back they should have just bit the bullet and got it all done in one day since most of had to lose a day anyway....now I have to either stay up really late to get some game time in or not play for two days straight.
