Where can we buy Bait in Gridania?

I had hoped to fish some in the lovely streams and lakes of Gridania but didnt see any field craft merchants in the market area...any tips on where we might get a wiggly worm or two?

Admiranda in the rosewood stalls sells moth pupas and crayfish balls. Higher level bait can be obtained from the merchant & menders at each camp.

Bait appropriate to every area can be purchased from a nearby NPC in that same area and for far, far cheaper than buying it from the market boards. Just go to where you want to fish, open up your map to find the nearest general/tool merchant, and they will sell you the appropriate bait. Stay away from the market boards if you want to save money.

Or just get lures instead once you reach the 20-ish level on your Fisher. No need to replenish those unlesss you manage to "loose" it against big fish.

Go to bentbranch meadows and you can buy bloodworms from the merchant & mender.

I recall hearing there's a disadvantage to using lures. Something like them taking longer to get a bite.

thank you all, such nice help. I dont use the markets too scary. but thanks so much for the tip about the local merchants that makes a lot of sense, and that way i wont have carry wiggly worms in my purse until i get there thansk again
