Where exactly did he say that no changes would be made to PLD at all? Show sources please.
True, but I am very sure SE has evaluated and gone over each job and determined if changes, big or small, needed to be done. PLD could of gotten a buff, a nerf, or not touched period. However, we don't know this exactly yet and everyone is going on the MT/OT debate. I like having all information in front of me before making an opinion on something like this.

Ï don't see why would they buff PLD. The point is to get them equal after all.To those saying that WAR will outshine PLD or the other way around, they haven't even announced what changes they are making to PLD yet. I would hold your fire until you have all the information presented to you. For all you know they may have made a lot of adjustments on PLD also.
I think this are great changes. I also play both PLD and WAR and I can see the WAR been almost at the PLD level.
Now I have more reason to switch between skill rotations more often.
Also note aside. Holmgang animation seems week. Why not added as a Charge towards the enemy and at the same time the drop of lighting as it was at first +Bind and the new buff. This will be also beneficial on the PVP as on PVE. Sorry but the chain seems really lame. Where is the WAR pulling that chain from =/. Charge seems more reasonable.
Caster: KnockBack.
Bards: Repelling Shot.
Monks: Charges.
Paladins: N/A <<Paladins need something

all the more reason they should keep it the way it is currently.
All of these stories are really cool and all but scroll down and look at the tags for this thread. I rofled. anyways I feel like this brings a balance to the game, they were never trying to balance the warrior to another class, from what i gather. What Yoshi said in a live letter was that the PLD was able to survive 4 stacks in coil when they were not supposed to and warriors would die, like the mechanic intended. Along with many other instances of the same issues. Instead of trying to change the game around the warrior they changed the warrior around the game. This should make it so everyone now needs a warrior and a paladin. Which works for me.
