Stop trying to make up for SE's inadequacies, you're not going to get a fruit basket from them.

Where would you rather the money went? Into developing content, or into paying technicians more to do maintenance at odd hours so they can placate people whining about maintenance?

There's always going to be 1 region that gets screwed over, and I completely understand this... but surely you can change the hours slightly?

At least you're fully aware that you're basically asking them to please screw over someone else.

Maybe I was being a bit too cynical, but that's a conditioned behavior on my part. Part of my job requires me to pay very close attention to detail. When something is changed, make sure the change agrees with everything touching it before throwing the contraption back together and hoping it works.

Yeah...this has been two days in a row though...that sucks!!!! How much damn maintenance does this game need???

Does anyone do anything else besides playing FFXIV all day long? Try getting some sleep, take a shower, watch a movie, play another game, and before you know it, maintenance is over.
