Using Dualshock 4 ... works, yet doesnt

When I read that the DS4 works on both PS3 and Windows out of the box, I went ahead and got one a little early. Well that compatability is only partly true.

Well not only does it not work on some PS3 games like GTA5 (NOOO!!) for some mind boggling reason but its shady on PC as well. Oh it works on FFXIV (PC version) ... however many of the buttons are flipped. Triangle is X, 'Start' is now R3, etc.

No problem right? Just recalibrate it ... nope, once you click the recalibrate button, it doesnt work anymore. Haha, and now while writing this it seems that alt+tab'ing completely disables it ... doesnt even turn back on now at all, restarted the game, unplugged controller and everything. Shows up on the PC settings and works perfectly there. WTF .... (o_0) Ill update if a system restart changes anything.

Guess ill have to wait for 3rd party drivers again. Dammit Sony!

Anyway, just an FYI I guess. Hopefully someone will pass this along to the devs to fix. Or maybe there is already a work around.

(Love the controller BTW, big improvement over the previous ones)

Update: Restart didnt help. Still wont work. In hindsight, I might have screwed up the controller from working at all since I skipped everything when I recalibrated.

Yup, seems that way ... doesnt seem to work on other games either. Only seems to work well on my emulators. Well, at least itll be useful once I actually get the PS4 ... next year :"(
