This. ARR is a vast improvement upon 1.0 and 1.23. But the problem is that unrealistic people expect that a 2 month old MMO should have the same amount of content as a 10 year old game. Completely ridiculous expectation.

I don't know of many people who complained in FFXI at (NA...assuming RoZ) launch. The only "hate" back then was there was "too much" to do.

That was because FFXI was out for a year in Japan before it was sold in western countries.

I miss the time where it took months to hit level cap.

You're in the minority. Hell, even FFXI doesn't take more than a couple days to a week to cap now.
