Dualshock 4 works great with the game, with key rebinding fix

Thought this would be pretty useful for people considering the Dualshock 4, which is available for purchase from Amazon, etc. The buttons are mixed up, and they could be rebound in the system menu, but the crossbar skills won't match up. Here's the solution:

"To make the DualShock 4 work 100% on PC, you have to manually edit the FFXIV.cfg file located in My Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy - A Realm Reborn.
Make a copy first if you wish, then ctrl+f and replace every instance of "alias" with this code:

Alias {90,91,88,89,41,40,32,33,73,72,48,49,3,2,1,0,4,6,10,5,7,11,9,8}

Also, if you were using the 360 controller, you'll have to switch the buttons from ABXY to XOST. This can be done in settings.

I highly recommend using a DS4 over the 360 pad. It's an amazing experience. Just a really solid design"

Lol, everyone keeps asking about that. This is just the configuration file that contains the system settings options. The line we're editting is the same thing that's editted from clicking on Calibrate Controller, except the Calibrate Controller feature doesn't work with this controller so you're screwed unless you edit this file.

Doesn't work for me, the calibration keeps resetting itself upon entering the game.

It's a configuration file. Not a game data file. This shouldn't be an issue, but if it is, that's pretty dumb.

I'll try it when they get the touchpad working... for now, I believe my Dualshock 2 is sufficient.

The DS4 works wonderfully with this game. Face buttons slightly closer together, sticks are great once you get used to them, coming from ds3, and the triggers and ergonomics are top notch. I use both mouse and DS4 and I could not be happier. Too bad game is getting a little boring.
