I'd call getting every single drop and your party members none for two weeks a bit more than good luck.

a DRG in our coil static picked up 4 MNK pieces in one week. I haven't gotten a single piece (despite two healer drops) in 5 weeks. Call it what you want. Like he said, with good luck you can get a set of allagan pretty quickly. Our DRG had some luck and now he has 4 pieces of monk allagan. Not just accesories either.
