    Summoner bis and stat prioritization...

So after looking online I’m a bit confused on what our actual bis stat priorities are. A number crunching thread I found said the ratio for int/det is roughly 1:4 and int/crit is roughly 1:6, which would lead me to prioritize det. However, the other bis threads I found typically prioritized crit over det. I’m thinking of opting for the det route since that means I only need to buy af1 pants/gloves, and get helm/boots from t1-2 (already have bp and ring). Any thoughts?

I have yet to see anyone say Det is better. Although I would like to believe so, but apparently our critical hits, on average, does more damage than the gains from det. I am going with AF2 Body and Head, Hero's accessories (except rings, the ring focuses on spell speed which is the same as allagan), and Allagan for feet, waist, hands, and legs.

I read that the order should be,

    Critical>Det>ACC>Speed.

By the way, make sure you upgrade your relic to +1. The gains from that upgrade is greater than from any other lvl 90 gear.

This is one source that actually says that Det and ACC are of equal importance.

yep, I went ahead to check on it.

the person who made the guide mentioned this "SMN: Weapon damage > INT > Crit > VIT? > Determination/Accuracy"

but afterwards also mentions this "*~432? accuracy for Binding Coil."

he's telling you that accuracy's value is low, but at the same time he's telling you to gear for it too -_- which is it?

maybe what he meant is something like this "acc (until cap) > crit > det etc etc."

If you want perfect hit rate as a summoner in coil you need at least 443 accuracy for garuda, and she isn't affected by food either so that's 443 without food.

Personally, I aim for Crit > Acc > Det > Speed. You need a decent amount of accuracy to hit things in coil, and I am currently below wherever I think I should be. The reason for this is the 'gap' between Darklight and Allagan/AFv2. There is a big difference between iLevel 70 and iLevel 90 gear. You really have to be critical about what pieces you choose to get as you only have a limited amount of myth per week.

Using this 'formula', you can pick the 'best in slot' items as they are available. Unfortunately, you might not get lucky with drops. Some examples: I personally think the Summoner's Horn is 'best in slot' because it has both Crit and Acc. The Allagan headpiece, on the other hand, has Acc + det, which I do not prioritize as highly. You may notice I am using the Summoner's feet (Acc+Spellspeed), which isn't ideal. The Allagan boots have Crit+Acc. I would prefer the Allagan boots... if I could ever have them to drop for me!
