The Old Guard <GUARD>

The Old Guard <GUARD> has recovered and rebuilt from the second Calamity to hit Eorzea, aka Free Server Transfers.

Created by military veterans to be a home for the same, yet open to all, <GUARD> is a place where all goals are appreciated and fostered. As we gain in strength and the roster begins to fill with level 50 adventurers, HD Primals and Raids will become targets. We are NOT currently raid ready, but we are moving in that direction. We're mostly marathoners, not sprinters. In the meantime, many are raising the various crafting and gathering jobs as well.

Most importantly, from level 5 to level 50, members are united in one thing, enjoying all aspects of Eorzea without drama, malice or pressure. If any or all of this sounds enticing to you, please reply here and/or seek one of the following in game:

Just so there's no misconception, I am not a vet, simply appreciative of those that have served my country in the past as well as those that continue to do so today. Stips and Pretty were just nice enough to allow me into their FC. Carry on

We've had a few new members in the last week or so and continue to make our way to endgame. Slow and steady with room for all types of players. We are also represented in the "Flotilla" LS /nod

Levels and members continue to grow. Still accepting members of any class that are looking to begin raiding on the ground floor and build something.

I was removed from this FC with no explanation, I was on vacation for a few days and I come back to not having an FC being a combat disabled veteran of 10 years. I met a lot of great people, but the leadership is apparently cut-throat.

You were cut for your racist rant on these forums. Maintenance is certainly a pain in the ass, but no reason for behaviour such as that, at least not within this Free Company.

We settled this discussion in game. I made my apologies, yet perfection in the forums is another cut-throat quality which is required. I never asked for anything except to not hold it against me in the future (which is why I deleted my original post,) yet obviously up-playing your mistakes in the forums in public is another big thing with this FC.
I was not banned from the forums for my supposedly racist rant, but others get banned for cussing? Yet, getting dropped from an FC for even more strict guidelines? We all know how strict SE is about the ban hammer, do you want an even more strict FC? Maybe if your in the military and you are in the market for some discipline.
Furthermore, I only met one other active player in the FC who was actually a military veteran, so that should probably be removed from the OP. I roll around in a wheelchair because I was injured in a war, and these guys kick me for a racist diatribe when i was mad, which i apologized for to the entire forum.

You immediately went to the forums to state your feelings on such things in a racist rant. Why you were not banned by SE for it is anyone's guess.
You were removed last night (Nov 12) following a discussion with half of the officers.
I did not see you online last night, and when I saw you were online tonight, I explained the situation to you.

Hardly the story you were stating above unless you'd like to weave an account hack into the whole thing.

Now, I thought we'd taken care of this in game and quite frankly drama like this is something we seek to avoid at all costs, yet another reason you were let go.
