What level can you access nodes?

Gathering nodes are multiples of 5. What level do you have to be to gather from a node?

I realize that when a node first becomes accessible the harvest success rate is low, but I like to think ahead about what to gather when I go off on a quest or whatever... and if there's a certain item I just need a few of, it's worth failing a bit. But there's nothing worse than going out of your way for nodes you can't see/access ><

You can gather from a new node type every 5 levels. So level 1-5 gather from a Lv5 node, level 6-10 you can gather from a Lv10 node, level 11-15 for a 15, so on and so forth.

You usually have somewhere around an 82% chance to gather a same level item with the most up to date NQ gear.

IIRC the new level nodes become available when you're 2 levels bellow - so you can see lvl 10 once you reach lvl 8, lvl 15 nodes once you reach lvl 13 and so - if that's what you were asking about.

Your thinking of the Disciple of Hand. For a level 10 node that has level 6 to 10 items you need to have level 6+.

As someone mentioned above you have to be 1 level higher every time to be able to see the node and mine from it.

To clarify:

When you reach level 5 for example you will have to keep mining the level 5 node until you are level 6. Once you are 6, you can head to the level 10 nodes and xp on those till you reach 11.
At 11 you can you head to level 15 nodes until you ding level 16 etc

Also be sure to check different areas as some areas have higher and lower level ores on the nodes.

So if you are level 17 for example you will be mining on level 20 nodes. Of course some items/ores will be level 20 in your list and as you will see there will be various different levels to choose from in a node. In this example you're level 17 so i would mine either the items in that node that are lvl16 or level 18 so as not to miss too much.
Of course your gear does help a lot and depending on that and the % of success is what you normally pick to mine.

Different people do it in a different way, this is just what i did myself and just an example.

So you have to be lv 26+ to gather from lv 30 nodes. Correct?

I did get my miner to 50 a while ago now but yes that sounds correct.

Normally if i need a few more 1000s xp i tend to do 2-3 leves, if you have leves and aren't using them of course.
