I only ever mark targets if DD can't seem to figure out which one has the lowest HP. IMO, we really shouldn't ever have to mark targets.
That's right, target markers are a weakness.

It's not laziness. In 1.0, we couldn't mark outside of leves. How do you think we got through fights then? That's right, we watched the target's hp bar. Marking isn't needed. It's actually lazier to rely on a mark to figure out which target to hit. I shouldn't have to tell DDs how to play their jobs.
1. ARR is more fast paced than 1.0 was. It's not laziness. In 1.0, we couldn't mark outside of leves. How do you think we got through fights then? That's right, we watched the target's hp bar. 2. If we could have marked in 1.0 we should have marked.
3. Tanking is simple, and marking a mob is literally one extra key press.
4. You're making the DDs and potentially healers job harder for no viable reason.
5. Marking makes DPS more efficient, as they don't have to wait to see which mob is being hit.
6. Stop being lazy and bad.
Doing Garuda with colorblind people, don't mark for OT..he'll figure it out one day. (sarcasm x10)
You know you can make macros that automatically target a mob with a specific mark? Very useful when dealing with for example, Twintania's adds and having to use Virus, can skip the targeting part completely.
