This wouldn't cause that to happen - SE pushing the content back and releasing the later content still is why we wouldn't bother with CT unless we're bored. It's unlikely a huge portion of the community is holding off on doing Coil so they can do CT first. In 1.0 we had a use for beastmen currency and in 2.0 we're given another type of currency that has only 1 purpose as alternate rewards from chests and quests. Giving them a use especially in terms of gear wouldn't hurt anything other than the people who buy cheap ones on AH and vendor them for the real prices.

Next set of AF costs 700 Tin? Expect to pay nearly a million or more for a piece of AF2/1.5 for awhile as people will be trying to profit on it. The prices he used was an example, the system itself isn't a "work around" it's more of way to put to use something else the game offers us. They're also not unlimited since you'll either have to make new characters to rerun all the quests you completed or grind dungeons all day so either way you're still grinding.
