Copy/paste from chat log on PS3

Is there a way to copy/paste a body of text from the chat log on PS3 or does it only work on PC? Like for instance when reporting gilsellers it would make the whole procedure a lot less cumbersome. Ctrl+c opens the character window and shift+arrow turns the camera. Why not just add a function to subcomands for reporting spam and RMT messages?

I have been able to do this, I used the controler in mouse mode and was able to highlight and copy paste with keyboard I think... Not at home to say how exactly, but it is possible

Well I messed around with my PS3 controller and USB Keyboard, I could highlight holding L2 while using in-game mouse cursor with my PS3 controller, After highlighting I would then Ctrl + C to copy and then Ctrl + V to paste the RMT advertisement onto support desk ticket.

Yes - copy paste works on PS3 too. Either using the (virutal or real) mouse to highlight the text or (if you're in direct chat mode) hold shift and them arrows left or right to highlight, then normal CTRL + C and CTRL + V.
