What's your TOTAL level?

Lately I've been curious to see what the total of all levels is for most players. As in, the sum of your levels for every class.

The highest total level would be 950, for players who have all 19 classes at 50.

Unlike a lot of players, I still don't have any classes at 50. But my "total level" is 551.

(I count classes that I haven't played at all yet as "level 1," but you could make the argument that they're level 0. In which case my total would be 549.)

Well, assuming you aren't allowed to count your class and job as two separate entities (aka 42 Lancer + 42 Dragoon = 82) my total level is 403.

If we ARE allowed to count them both it would be 445.

Which, considering I started this character on September 9th, is probably too high. REALLY compelling game.

Yeah, jobs don't count, just classes. 403 is damn impressive for starting so recently. I've been around since the 1.2 era of FFXIV and you're not that far behind me

For which character? Or do I count across all characters? That still sounds like a lot of maths.

EDIT: Assuming only the characters I have actively played in the past 7 days, 439.

I like this new level scoring system. Can I haz more posts now?

EDIT 2: Does this mean my ultimate level score will be 40 characters times 19 times 50? 38,000... O_O

We use the saying "900 club problems" (as opposed to first world problems) when someone with all classes leveled complained about something. I guess it is "950 club problems" now.

Hah, I like that xD I wonder how long it'll be before the 950 club makes up a significant portion of the playerbase.


Also, props to all the people with total levels around 100 or less who posted I was expecting only the hardcore super high total level people to post for bragging rights. And we definitely have a lot of cool highbies on the forums, but I want to hear from everyone!

It's a point to realize that someone with every class at level 10 would be 190 whereas someone with 2 classes at lvl 50 would be 100, yet the person with 2 x 50 probably has put more time into the game. Not complaining at all, just a fun thing to think about

Yeah, that's a good point. Unless it's near the max, your total level doesn't really say anything definitive about your achievements or time/effort in the game. I guess the only thing it says for sure is how much you like dabbling in different classes and FFXIV activities

I'd really like to know how many players on non legacy servers are 950. One of my friends is, but I'd like to know how many are out there total. (again, non legacy servers)
I still don't understand why the lodestone website doesn't have a field for "level". I know without additional options it wouldn't allow us to search for total levels = 950, but it sure would be a good start to be able to search by player levels.
