    Ideas for Warrior Skill Changes V2

    Hey Guys,

    My previous post got some really good feedback. Had some good Ideas but they did not address the Issue with scaling to Incoming Damage. I looked back to some of my favorite games for inspiration in the Leech Tanking department and made some new proposals for Warrior skill changes. Let me know what you think.

    Defiance:
    Increases maximum HP by 25% and healing received from all sources by 15%, while lowering damage dealt by 25% and increasing enmity.
    Using certain actions while under the effect of Defiance will grant Wrath.
    Each unit of Wrath increases critical hit chance by 2% and chance to be healed for 20% of Damage Received by 4%.
    When five units are stacked, you will become Infuriated. All Wrath is lost when Defiance ends.

    Inner Beast:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 300.
    Ignores the damage penalty inflicted by Defiance.
    Can only be executed when Infuriated.
    All Wrath is lost when used.
    Additional Effect: Heals you for 40% of the Damage received in the last 5s.
    Recast: 6s
    (Can not exceed 50% max health)

    Unchained:
    Nullifies the damage penalty inflicted by Defiance and
    For each successful attack you are shielded for 100% of the damage done.
    Duration: 20s
    Can only be executed when Infuriated.
    All Wrath is lost when used.
    Effect is canceled if Defiance ends.
    (Can not exceed 50% of Max Health)
    *Shields would Stack*

    Steel Cyclone:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 200 to all nearby enemies.
    Ignores the damage penalty inflicted by Defiance.
    Can only be executed when Infuriated.
    All Wrath is lost when used.
    Bonus: Steel Blooded.
    Bonus Effect: Increase healing received by 3% for each Target Hit.
    Bonus Duration 15s
    *Max 24%*

    Foresight:
    Whenever you parry, you build a counter. When there are 5 counters, your next attack will perform an additional attack with a potency of 200 and heals you for 10% of your maximum health.
    Additional Effect: Increase parry rate by 40%.
    Duration: 20s
    *1.5s Internal cool down on counters*

    Blood Bath:
    Each successful attack against you heals for 10% of the Damage Done.
    Duration: 30s

    Our New Bread and Butter Rotation Skills:

    Butcher Block:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100.
    Additional Effect: Increased enmity.
    Combo Action: Skull Sunder.
    Combo Potency: 280
    Combo Bonus: Blood for Aid
    Bonus Effect: Attacks against affected target heal for 5% of damage done.
    Bonus Duration:8s
    Grants Wrath when used with Defiance. Duration: 30s
    *Provides Debuff to target*

    Storms Path:
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100.
    Combo Action: Maim
    Combo Potency: 250
    Combo Bonus: Successful attacks heal for 25% of damage done.
    Duration: 15s
    Grants Wrath when used with Defiance. Duration: 30s
    *provides buff, TP cost reduced to 70*

    Over Healing produced by the Warrior's skills should provide Enmity.

    What would you think of reworking the wrath mechanic? As in how you build wrath.

    Say instead of gaining wrath from using abilities, you get wrath when damage is dealt to you, that way it would scale with boss strength, and in tougher fights where you take lots of dmg you would regen wrath much faster.
