Because the stats are ridiculously higher on +1. Only non relic users would say idiot stuff like this, and a simply damage gets multiplied that even a +2 increase will becomes a large increase.

People are forgetting that weapons themselves only have minor damage up through the life of 1-50, yet their damage progresses very high from weapon to weapon.
