Unlimited(with delay) or Zelda/FF13~ style

To the people saying jump has no purpose in the game:

Neither does Auto-run
Neither does Auto-follow
Neither does lock-on
Neither does a Delivery system
Neither does color coded text
Neither does a search function
Neither does monster levels
Neither does mini-map
Neither does Widgets
Neither does the journal


.... which we all know isn't true. Of course jump adds to the game just like everything listed above.

I don't get it. A list of things having nothing to do with jump doesn't make a case for adding jump.
