Don't accidentally abandon the Relic Reborn quest. If you do, you will lose all progress made. I heard some words from my Dad that I have never heard him say before.

He had gotten the weapon for his WAR from the mines, turned it in, Got the Barbarians Bardashe, bought the materia (25k a piece), finally found someone to attach it and was at the part where he had to fight the Chimera.

He was taking a break and helping me level when he was getting rid of some of the lower level quests he picked up when he froze and said "no way!" ran back to the guy in North Shroud, re-took the quest and had to go back to the mines and get the weapon again.

So, be careful if you are abandoning quests.

I read the whole thing. I still don't understand how you can accidentally abandon the quest, unless you simply don't pay attention to what you are doing. I'm not trying to be a "smart ass". I just don't think this is worth a thread as common sense would prevent this from happening to most people.

Some people are inexplicably clumsy, in-game and out. Maybe his dad is one, I don't know

You have your answer right there. The concept of accidents are tied to human error which wouldn't normally occur given the person's abilities, in this case not paying enough attention, as you touched upon. It doesn't mean you struggle with reading in general because you missed reading something. It doesn't mean you have a neurological disease just because you dropped that sandwich yesterday. It doesn't mean you can't please a lady just because you got a bit excited the other night. It's happening daily, and I'm sure you've had a lot of them yourself.

Really, I don't think any of your comments were worth posting, but you did anyway. It's a simple warning to fellow players. How arrogant are you, that you feel you need to deride someone for trying to help the community, then talk about how worthless it is, after posting something of less worth? I mean how backassward is your logic, that of all the posts you chose to deem unworthy, you chose one helping the community? Go post a "worthy thread" of your own.
If anyone posted anything of dubious value here, it was you.
