If furnishing is anything like XI

Which is most likely will be. I can already see what the primal and ads drops are for. Resist / buffs to the extreme mode primal. It only makes sense. Furnishing your mog house in XI would give you different resists.

P.s. I been buying all resist tier III materia when they are on sell cheap. Hopefully there is a need for them on extremes and I can make huge profits.

Being able to put resist materia in furniture to give you the resists would be pretty sweet.

Being able to put resist materia in FC Furniture in the FC house for Global FC resists would be sweeter.

I think that was in reference to enemies (as in, all enemies would be equally susceptible to all elemental attacks) only. Player characters would still be able to get resistance bonus from an enemy's elemental attack based on their elemental resistance attributes. Not sure how much of a difference they make though.

So it appears that elemental resistances do make a difference, if you have enough I guess...
