No to cowl in end-game! ranting lalafell inside!

I also was tired of the cowl. but because ak, wp cm and praet all give 100 tomes, I do not see whats holding you back to collect 1125 tomes to get the potash needed to get the crafted robes. the rest of the mats cost little. I am cowl free for a darn long time.

Gonna have to agree with Shadowzanon on this one. I, personally, bought the mats for the robe and hat, but there is nothing stopping people from farming for the mats instead of farming for the cowl. If you are the type of person to complain about not being able to see your character's head then take the time to get something that shows it. Add in the fact that the robe and hat give you better stats when you finish melding them and it seems like the obvious choice.

Even though they said no vanity system in the petition thread to get it in 2.1... People are still signing it and talking about it.

Hardly going to see the existing hoods and cowls have an on/off setting. New gear perhaps. The old ones, not so much any time soon. Maybe eventually (eventually = years from now). Best brace yourselves and learn to love it :x

You can save myth tomes for 3 weeks and buy AF2 body ASAP. downgrade your headgear back to AK headgear or buy a Vanya hat (they're not that expensive). then buy the AF2 headgear next week.

Thought about doing this...but the AF2 HEad/Body combo has significantly less Accuracy than the Cowl. That's not a good thing for a BLM that wants to do coil. Of course you can make up for it with other gear...but that's more Myth farming/waiting.

We got around this by melding accessories I think, the allagan body works too if I recall correctly.

It's not so much the look as i don't personally like my head slot choice taken away, so it's a double no for me. Kind of silly seeing as BRD/DRG gets a head and body choice for DL yet tanks and mages do not. I detest them so much that i am not even going to bother with cowl and just wait on a crafted robe. untill myth armor. since the cost of a cowl is around the same (but little less) as the potash needed.

There is not one tank i see in that, i don't go "you poor things..."
