What will most likely happen lol. Instead of 200exp per trash mob it will be 300exp per kill :Smore dungeon XP would encourage people on alternate jobs to run dungeons which will help others through story, it will also make fates less crowded. That being said SE probably prefers people grinding fates because it takes less server power than instancing 100s on lower level dungeon groups. Hopefully SE will do what's right, not what's easy.

Also, in order to strike a proper balance between this plan and the experience points gained by participating in FATE, we will be decreasing the amount of experience points gained in FATES in patch 2.1.

If this is simply a global change to exp earned while dungeon-bashing why does this have to wait till 2.1, over a month away, to be implemented? I mean, it doesn't require zone design or anything, just crank that dial up to 11 already!
