That is awesome indeed. FATE grinding gets boring very quickly, and some of the populated areas are just too hard to grind in (*coughQuarrymillcough*). I am so glad this is happening, I would much rather spam dungeons for levels than grind FATEs.
SUGGESTION: Daily Grand Company hunting logs for dungeons. We've already killed monsters inside dungeons for the log but I think this should be a recurring quest. It will keep the accumulation of Seals on pace with FATE grinding as well as an added incentive to do different dungeons.
I can see two issues with this already.Greetings,
As was mentioned during the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX, we'll be introducing a feature for the Duty Finder in patch 2.1 that will place you in a random dungeon in order to get people participating in a wider variety of dungeons.
Specifically, we will be breaking down dungeon content into different categories such as leveling dungeons, level 50+ dungeons, and primal battles, and players will be matched for random content. You'll be able to challenge each category once every real-world day and as a reward you will receive each kind of Allagan tomestones. Participants will be matched with priority on content that is lacking members.
Also, in order to strike a proper balance between this plan and the experience points gained by participating in FATE, we will be increasing the amount of experience points gained in dungeons in patch 2.1.
1) if I get randomly placed in a lower level dungeon I still take damage on my armor and have repair costs like I'm still level 50. Can we get reduced armor damage in lower level dungeons on our higher level gear?
2) a random hard mode Titan primal can still potentially be disastrous with the latency issues everyone is still having. I'll dread ever getting that for my random.
The increased exp in the dungeons is definitely a godsend though, thanks.

Nemo me impune lacessit.
You're supposed to nerf FATEs in some way while doing this.
Why do you guys make this game easier with every new patch when it has been less than 3 months since the game came out? Seriously. Soon leveling from 1 to 50 will take a single day or hell, a single sitting.
Let me guess, casuals.
